I’ve been a huge fan of the Mission Impossible series for years. All the films are all different from one another and become more entertaining. After a series hits their sixth installment, the story can be lazy or uninteresting. With Fallout, it’s SO different than the other series. The main difference is the action. Never have I forgotten how to breathe while watching a intense chase scene or a brutal fistfight scene. This has it all, helicopter chases, a epic halo jump, a nail biting car chase. Tom Cruise is still great as Ethan and the rest of the cast are amazing. The story is the only flaw mostly because everyone has seen or heard of this “stop the bomb or the world is destroyed” plot line so many times that scenes become too familiar other different films. This is a film that you need to pay attention cause things can be confusing. Other than that, it’s a must see in theaters. One of the best in the series. Verdict: 8.5.
